Mooncake Festival

Yesterday was the Mooncake Festival, or as Wikipedia calls it, Mid-Autumn Festival . Seemed pretty UN-holiday like and more simply going to our cousins house in San Jose.

Got there at around 1? Totally forgot about the niners game until my cousin turned on the TV. Did calculus homework while watching the game. (congrats the the niners for winning). Got kicked out of the living room and had to go to the bedroom to watch the rest of the game. After ward, I went and watched Black Hawk Down, which I've sadly never seen before. Before the movie could finish, we left for the restaurant (how sad).

Anyway, it was a weird chinese restaurant. It was modern. They had huge wine racks (seriously, who drinks wine while eating chinese food?!) and all the plates and utencils were plain and american. The weirdest part was desert, where you would expect fruit or red bean soup. Intead, we got THIS:

Mango Pudding with almond cookies. Although aesthetically pleasing, not really tasty.
